Langdon Hall serves up something special

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me how magical Langdon Hall was, I would have just enough money to buy a dirty vodka martini in their swanky lobby bar.

The thing is, now I'm saying it!

Nestled in Cambridge, Ontario off the QEW (1.5 hours south of Toronto) is an oasis of decadence and luxury within the crown jewel of Ontario's horseshoe area. Believe it or not, there are only 14 Relais & Chateaux properties in Canada and a few AAA five Diamond award recipients, so this place is pretty darn special.

This resort, manor, estate, whatever you want to call it provides a top-shelf experience of every single service they provide, whether it's a spa treatment, dining, or even having drinks by the pool. Ultimately you get the royal treatment that would make Prince Harry blush. It's the kind of place that you go to relax and to be reminded that you deserve better. No guilt or judgment is cast on you if all you want to do is lounge around in their plush bathrobes in front of your in-room wood burning fireplace, drinking some fantastic wine recommended to you by their awesome sommeliers. These are the kind of sommeliers that make fun of their own trade and the kind of people that you'd find yourself having a beer with at the local dive bar. That's how grounded this place is.

Dinner in the main dining room is a biblical experience, and for one of the top five restaurants in Canada, it should be. Walking the acres of grounds, you feel a sense of calm and maybe even a throwback to yesteryear when life wasn't so complicated. All in all, this place is special, and should you ever decide it's time to take better care of yourself, let Langdon Hall do it for you.

Pro tip: Buy a package that includes meals. Unless your first name is Drake and your last name is Rockefeller, that is the best value.
