Workshop Overview
Birds, birds and more birds - but not at a crazy pace! We will take time to observe many species and learn about their behaviours and life histories. In the evening, after nutritious meals, owling, nocturnal birding, sharing stories, and perhaps astronomy will keep us busy and stimulated (did you know we are located in the midst of a Dark Sky Community?).
Birders of all stripes know that mornings start early - we'll visit local birding "hotspots" and monitor fascinating aspects of migration monitoring, including banding. Don't worry, there will be opportunities to explore the stunning landscapes and spectacular habitats of the Bruce Peninsula through hiking and shoreline walks.
